With 46 years in the market, Incasur’s main line of production is the export of finished products based on Andean grains (quinoa, kiwicha, maca) and cocoa to the United States, Chile, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand and Canada. “These last two countries entered our list of markets this year,” said Andrea Garreta, the company’s international trade manager.

Likewise, the company distributes these same products in the Peruvian market. “Incasur starts in Cusco, where the company is originally from. Currently, it is distributed nationwide,” she said.

Among its main products are the traditional and emblematic hot chocolate Sol del Cuzco, Kiwigen and Quinua perlada). These will be brought to the IX edition of Expoalimentaria Fair, to be held from September 27th to 29th at the Jockey Convention Center.

In Expoalimentaria, Incasur will also emphasize other innovative products such as instant quinoa flakes, banana bars with quinoa and kiwicha, and the introduction of ‘Quinua arroz’ and ‘Chazz kiz’ (quinoa and corn tortillas). “With great pride, this year Incasur’s pearled quinoa has been awarded the ITQI certificate with the best taste in the world,” said Garreta.

For 2017, the Exports area of the company has an expectation: to enter Central America through Panama, which is considered a bridge to the other countries in the area. “At Expoalimentaria 2017, we hope to find new customers from that part of the world,” said Garreta.

“For us, especially for the area of Exports, Expoalimentaria is undoubtedly the most important event in the country. We have had many pleasant experiences because through the fair we make ourselves known in many countries around the world,” she concluded.
